Infinite Blank

website - devlog

Hello, old friends.  Your pal Jellyf15h / Cellulose Man wishes to share his latest creation with you.

Infinite Blank is an online platform exploration game with a world that you draw.  A massively multiplayer canvas.  And it's totally free!  Out for windows, mac and linux.  Ingame, you can draw your own avatar, explore, and find other players to frolick with.  When you hit a blank cell, you can draw it.  There are no accounts, and minimal limitations on what you can do.

There's really not much more to say other than that.  I bring this here because I know that those of you from GMClans' dissolution who remain here are creative and faithful to community.  Therefore, you're perfect inductees into this world.  Not my world, I should note, but yours.

Consider this an invitation.

14277, TCP/UCP.  Only outgoing TCP connections, doesn't have any trouble if it's behind a router as it circumvents NAT.

This is a marvelous.

While it is a hotkey nightmare and the servers are very fragile, its a really interesting program and very fun. The lack of chat is limiting, but it kind of reminds me of Whirl'd (I think thats what its called). The auto-fill gets to me though ;).

The game seems to crash a lot. But I managed to make a couple of really terrible cells (you can't miss them). I'm not going to tell the password, but it's REALLY easy, so if you think they're horrible enough, feel free to fix them.

I played it for about an hour total today and let Jelly show me around a bit :D Didn't crash for me or anything. Everything seemed to be alright.

I saw that one. Nice.

Edit: By the way, all of my cells have the same password. Here's a hint: it's not 321.

Hah, the pizza one is awesome!    Hard jump, though.

And you don't need to tell me your passwords; I have super admin powers.

Expect version 0.1.4 today.

0.1.4 is out and the server is back up, mightier than ever.

Dirigibles and undersea research domes and cloud monsters and planets and lovecraftian god-monsters and pocket dimensions and little cats and pop art and other awesome things.

Make cells with lots of exits and I love you forever.  Se y'all tomorrow.

I really like this! Only thing I don't like it that drawing with a mouse makes everything shaky looking (But that's my crappy mouse drawing skills for ya... XD).... And is there a way to erase parts of shapes?

After figuring out this all out I really like it! I made a statue of Natis, based off a little clay figurine my sister made for me a few Christmases ago, I made a dig dug lookalike, aswell as various cells.

I like finding random people to jump around with. However, I wish I knew who they were. I've met 2 black ball people, a blue (I think) little dude, and a guy with a hat, which I'm guessing is either jelly, or  someone with super powers because they could type things to me, and taught me the beauty of the backspace. :D So maybe having the a name over the person's head when you are close to then or something would be cool.

Oh yeah, and it's not hard to figure out but this is me:

Natis! With an old sprite as a reference.
