Awesome, I'm going to be bugging you and Burr about how to do some coding stuff. I literally just started working on a simple life simulator game thingy that would be perfect for this.

Tis' a demo of my game. Click to move and eat stuff. It's basically just a really rough draft I made quickly to get a feel for the mechanics. Um... do any of you guys know of some code that will make instances follow a leader like train cars follow the engine? I really need it for some good looking Cocci and similar chain colonies. In case you haven't noticed I'm making a micro-organism sim. -------------------- Because I have such an amazing internet filter, IRC is blocked and I am forced to stalk the forums instead. Meh, more linear.
And by tiny I meant Retro, not short, necessarily. |

Er...Loserhands, you don't mind if I do a beat based game either do you? I've come up with an idea for an arena shooter. I'm scrapping my life sim because it's taking too long and isn't very entertaining.

I made a game for it! I like it even though it is very short and im guessing people wont like it because i kinda rushed. I made it in 5 hours. I was going for minimal time, to! You can download the game here: http://www.box.net/shared/inh01mix32

masteralpaka, I'd suggest using a mask for collision checking with the main character. He can stand on a platform just by having his head sticking over it.
Also, when you jump up to a wall or platform and hold down jump or the directional button, you stick on the wall. When you fall out the side or the bottom of the screen, the game or the level should restart. And at the end, I think part of the text is off the screen. Nice job. -------------------- I can write! ^_^

You don't necessarily have to use a mask. Just don't use precise collision checking.

Damn. Life snatched my whole weekend away.
I'm still very motivated to finish my game, though. |
